METAL TUBE PACKAGING EQUIPMENT

Tube packaging requires 3 steps:

1. Fill tube, with 1494-E Piston Filler. (See filler page).

2. Close tube with Model 1490 folder.

3. Crimp or crimp & code tube end with Model 1493 or1495.

          MODEL 1490 TUBE FOLDER.

  • One turn of handle and tube is folded.
  • Production of 600-800 tubes/hr.
  • Standard unit will handle tubes up to 1.5" diameter
  • Special model for tubes up to 2" diameter.
  • Tube length from 3.25 to 9" long. Shorter lengths require adapter.
  • Folder will produce either a double fold, or a triple fold.
  • Net weight of 20 lbs.

        MODEL 1493/1495 TUBE CRIMPER/CODER

  • Unit suitable for use on both metal and plastic tubes.
  • Can provide straight crimp or combination of crimp and code.
  • Standard code has provision for 5 characters.
  • Machine available , hand or, air operated.
  • 2.5" wide jaws for use on tubes up to 1.5" diameter.
  • 4  "  wide jarw for use on tubes up to 2.5" diameter.
  • Net weight: Hand operated 8.5 lbs, air operated 18 lbs.
